<p>The Digital Twin (DT) technology has redefined the landscape of urban infrastructure and building management in terms of monitoring, simulation, and optimization. The present scientometric review paper discusses the development of DT applications for urban infrastructure and building management. It provides an extensive review of DT research in four strategic pillars: Urban Resilience and Disaster Management (URDM), Predictive maintenance &amp; asset management (PMAM), Sustainable Building and Energy Efficiency (SBEE), and Urban Planning and Development (UPD). Based on the Scopus data from 2018 to 2024, the analysis conducts an exploration of publications and citation pattern analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, country collaboration analysis, document co-citation analysis, and burst analysis. The results show the major nations, prestigious journals, and the growth trajectory of DT research. The analysis provides important insights into the development, patterns of collaboration, and prospects of DT research in urban contexts by filling in gaps in the body of existing literature, which frequently lacks in-depth exploration of the particular domains.</p>
