摘要

Here, the Zn/titanosilicate-1 (TS-1) catalysts with different loadings and promotors were prepared to investigate catalytic performance in the dehydrogenation of propane. Derived from the alteration of the strength and distribution of acid sites due to the variation of the ZnO loadings, the optimal catalytic activity and selectivity of 2Zn/TS-1 catalyst (2 wt% ZnO) can be well reasonably attributed to the appropriate number of acid sites and the acidic strength. The addition of promoters such as 0.5 wt% MgO and 2.0 wt% ZrO2 may improve the stability of Zn/TS-1 catalyst due to the strong interaction between Zn2+ and promoter ions, which is believed to partially prevent the reduction of Zn2+ to metallic Zn. 2Zn/TS-1 catalyst exhibited good recycle stability. The loss of active Zn species on the used catalysts can be suppressed by regeneration treatment in air, in which the interaction between the Zn2+ and TS-1 support could become stronger.

Graphical Abstract

Well dispersed titanosilicate-1 (TS-1) supported ZnO catalysts were prepared, among which 2Zn/TS-1 catalyst exhibited good catalytic performance and recycle stability.
