Scientific Legacy of Academician N. Z. Shor
摘要
An overview of the scientific legacy of Academician N. Z. Shor is presented. His main scientific ideas are considered: the method of sequential analysis of alternatives (1961), the subgradient method (1962), the use of linear non-orthogonal transformations of space to improve the conditionality of ravine functions (1969), and the dual approach to obtaining and refining estimates of the objective function in non-convex quadratic models (1985). Examples of implementing these ideas in the methods and algorithms developed at the V. M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are provided.
