Foetal detection of a mitral leaflet mass
摘要
Foetal echocardiography identified a mitral valvular mass and enabled accurate anatomical assessment and differential diagnosis in utero. Postnatal ultrasound reproduced the same structural and functional findings, reinforcing diagnostic confidence. Imaging characteristics favoured papillary fibroelastoma and, in the absence of clinical or haemodynamic impact, supported a strategy of careful longitudinal surveillance.
