Thermopolycondensation of Heavy Pyrolysis Tar in a Heavy Aromatic Solvent in the Presence of an Organic Peroxide Catalyst
摘要
Results are given for a study on the thermopolycondensation of heavy pyrolysis resins in the presence of organic peroxides and heavy aromatic fractions of heavy pyrolysis tar (bp 350-450°C) with various sulfur contents. Feasibility was demonstrated for obtaining high-melting pyrolysis pitches by two-stage thermopolycondensation of a fraction of heavy pyrolysis tar with boiling onset at 350°C. An experimental study showed an effect of a solvent with a high content of polycyclic aromatic compounds on the formation of toluene-insoluble components.
