<p>New quaternary ammonium salts containing gem-dichlorocyclopropane and cycloacetal fragments have been synthesized. Results are given for a study of additives derived from these compounds for the purpose of reducing the evaporation of gasoline during storage in tanks. Carbo- and heterocyclic ammonium salts, which do not negatively affect gasoline properties, were obtained from available raw materials.</p>
