Effect of Frozen Aqueous Solutions of Laprol 373 on the Growth Rate of Freon-12 Gas Hydrate

Experimental data are presented on the effect of frozen aqueous polyether solutions on the growth rate of Freon-12 gas hydrate with cyclical changes in the sample temperature from 263 to 276 K. The extent of conversion of the sample into gas hydrate was evaluated by p-V-T measurements. The addition of a polyether at low concentration was found to actively affect the growth rate of the gas hydrate.
