<p>Results are given for a study of the thermopolycondensation of oil residues from various sources including heavy catalytic cracking gas oil and cracking residues, The temperature and duration of the isothermal stage for obtaining pitch-like products with softening points 75 and 110°C were selected for all the residual oil products studied. Feasibility was shown for obtaining binding petroleum pitches from current residual oil products.</p>
