<p>A&#xa0;universal self-propelled intelligent working upper limb prosthesis based on a&#xa0;spatial mechanism consisting of a&#xa0;parallel structure with twelve degrees of freedom—an octahedral dodecapod—is presented. Its advantages over current working upper limb prostheses are demonstrated. The functional capabilities of the proposed working upper limb prosthesis are presented using a&#xa0;full-scale kinematic-force model as an example.</p>

摘要

A universal self-propelled intelligent working upper limb prosthesis based on a spatial mechanism consisting of a parallel structure with twelve degrees of freedom—an octahedral dodecapod—is presented. Its advantages over current working upper limb prostheses are demonstrated. The functional capabilities of the proposed working upper limb prosthesis are presented using a full-scale kinematic-force model as an example.
