<p>A&#xa0;mathematical model of carbohydrate metabolism in the human body with absolute insulin deficiency during insulin therapy is proposed. The model is based on a&#xa0;physiologically based description of the processes of glucose formation, breakdown, and consumption using enzyme kinetics equations and a&#xa0;description of hormone-controlled processes of the activation and deactivation of enzyme catalysts. The proposed model can be used both to analyze the dynamics of individual substances and processes and to develop new strategies for controlling the blood glucose concentration in type&#xa0;1 diabetes mellitus to improve the efficiency of automated insulin therapy.</p>

摘要

A mathematical model of carbohydrate metabolism in the human body with absolute insulin deficiency during insulin therapy is proposed. The model is based on a physiologically based description of the processes of glucose formation, breakdown, and consumption using enzyme kinetics equations and a description of hormone-controlled processes of the activation and deactivation of enzyme catalysts.
