摘要

Artifacts generated by metal implants prevent objective diagnosis and functional investigations by the computed tomography (CT) methods. This paper shows that the above problem can be solved by combined application of CT and X‑ray absorption spectrometry. A lung phantom with a pacemaker is used for reliable determination of the content of contrast agents in the area of maximum image distortion by artifacts generated by the implant.
