<p>The optical parameters of polycarbonate protective glasses for dentistry are compared. An experimental spectrophotometric system was used to make measurements because spectrophotometric technical measuring instruments support the investigation of a&#xa0;variety of optical materials with high accuracy and reliability, making this work promising and relevant. This report defines the objectives and tasks of the study. A&#xa0;functional diagram of the experimental arrangement is provided and technical characteristics are given. Spectral relationships between transmittance and wavelength were obtained and th maximum transmittances of study samples were determined; relationships between material thickness and transmittance were identified.</p>
