<p>This article provides a&#xa0;brief overview of reports from scientists at Russian universities and scientific organizations presented in the section “Methods and means of diagnostics of the natural environment” within the framework of the XVI International Scientific Conference “Physics and Radioelectronics in Medicine and Ecology” (FREME’2024), held on July&#xa0;2–4, 2024 in Suzdal, Vladimir region, Russia. The section covered approaches to solving urgent problems in diagnosis of the characteristics of the natural environment based on modern advances in science and technology: the relationship between electromagnetic and gravitational fields and seismic processes was identified, ways to improve the quality of geographic referencing of Russian remote sensing systems were considered, a&#xa0;unique technology for assessing the balance of greenhouse gases based on analysis of satellite data was presented, and the results of laser synthesis of nanoparticles are presented.</p>
