Features of the use of barrier discharge plasma as an approach to ozone therapy in the treatment of dermatological conditions
摘要
Mathematical modeling of the ignition of a discharge plasma with a dielectric barrier on the surface of human skin showed that the condition of the skin and the location of disease on the human body directly affected the concentration of ozone, i.e., the therapeutic agent, in the discharge plasma. Thus, the type of dermatological disease has a direct effect on the efficacy of exposure to plasma in the treatment of certain skin lesions. With the aim achieving therapeutic effects, the geometric dimensions of the electrodes of the barrier discharge ignition system should be adjusted in accordance with the effect of the type of disease and its location on the electrical capacity of the skin.
