A method for automatic segmentation of computed tomograms with contrast

We present here a new method for automatic segmentation of the chambers of the heart, based on data from computed tomography with contrast. This approach allows rapid creation of an anatomical reconstruction by the surgeon and its subsequent combination with an electroanatomical model for precise application of radiofrequency treatments. The main advantage of the method proposed here is the reduction in the time required to create a volumetric heart model without loss of quality.
