A device for the early diagnosis of caries
摘要
This article addresses a solution to an urgent problem, namely the development of a device for non-invasive dental diagnostics for the detection of caries in the early stages of its development. The diagnostic technique used in the device was based on laser-induced fluorescence using radiation sources with wavelengths of 405 and 635 nm. Results from studies of healthy and caries-affected tooth specimens demonstrated the high diagnostic capabilities of the technique.
