Review of the Russian market for bioelectrically controlled upper limb prostheses

The main objective of this article is to review the current state of the market for bioelectrically controlled upper limb prostheses in the Russian Federation. National standards and legislative norms relating to prosthetics are reviewed, the procedure for obtaining a prosthesis is described step by step, taking into account various methods of payment and recompense, and the products of the leading manufacturers of bioprostheses in Russia are reviewed from the point of view of functionality and management principles. The study results led to conclusions regarding the competitiveness of bionic devices and their availability in the domestic market.
