摘要

The need for medical products with bioactive properties and antibacterial effects in the reconstructive treatment of bone pathology complicated by purulent infection is identified. This was addressed by running an analysis of the case histories of 216 patients with osteomyelitis of the lower limbs who received treatment in one department of a specialized clinic in 2022. Expert assessment showed that 240 bioactive materials and products with antibacterial effects could be used in the target group of patients per year. The mean need per patient was 1.1 implants. The expected demand for such products in the Russian Federation could be up to 135,000 per year. The items most in demand could be implants with high elasticity (membranes/matrixes/meshes) and mechanically stable volumetric cellular implants for marginal and cavity defects. The analysis demonstrated significant potential for large-scale production.
