BIOMECHANICAL ASPECTS OF THE DESIGN OF A DEVICE FOR MECHANICAL EXTRACTION OF THE STROMAL VASCULAR FRACTION OF ADIPOSE TISSUE

The effectiveness of a method for preparation of a stromal vascular fraction of adipose tissue mechanically by passage between syringes using disposable adapters as used in regenerative and aesthetic surgery, is discussed. Attention was focused on assessing the lipoaspirate flow parameters for different treatment protocols and different adapter design parameters used in practice. Studies using finite element modeling addressed the effective length and diameter of the adapters.
