Serum Markers of Abnormal Placental Attachment in Pregnant Women
摘要
The changes in serum concentrations of glycodelin A, placental α1-microglobulin, and adiponectin in pregnant women were studied and the possibility of using them for predicting placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) was evaluated. Significantly reduced serum levels of all studied proteins and higher number cases of cesarean sections were found in women with PAS. A formula for predicting PAS was developed. It was found that patient’s score ⩾ 8 indicates the presence of PAS with high sensitivity and specificity.
