<p>We show that the fundamental category of a directed space decomposed into stellar strata by a poset (partially ordered set) is equivalent to its face category. As a consequence, we compute the fundamental category for two stellar stratifications on the classifying space of a small category.</p>

摘要

We show that the fundamental category of a directed space decomposed into stellar strata by a poset (partially ordered set) is equivalent to its face category. As a consequence, we compute the fundamental category for two stellar stratifications on the classifying space of a small category.
