摘要

The increasing complexity of the global political and economic landscape generates significant uncertainties, leading to frequent supply chain disruptions in the manufacturing sector. Strengthening supply chain resilience (SCR) through enterprise digital transformation (EDT) has become essential to address these challenges. However, many enterprises mistakenly focus solely on implementing new technologies, overlooking the need for system-wide adaptation. As a result, digital transformation efforts often fail, undermining competitiveness. This study examines the true mechanisms by which digital technology (DT) impacts organisations, introducing a multi-level analytical framework that considers digital attributes, organisational environment (OE), and both internal and external contexts. Using a multi-level moderated mediation model, we investigate the intricate relationships among technology, organisation, EDT, SCR, and corporate performance. The findings reveal: (1) the internal OE in manufacturing firms has a greater effect on EDT and SCR than technology itself; (2) EDT improves corporate performance both directly and by enhancing SCR; (3) reactive resilience after disruptions has the strongest impact on performance; and (4) external market volatility hampers SCR development and reduces performance. These insights clarify the drivers of SCR and performance improvement enabled by DT, offering valuable guidance for practitioners engaged in manufacturing digital transformation.
