Folgen von COVID-19 für die psychische Gesundheit
摘要
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is associated with a variety of mental health problems, of which cognitive impairment, depression and anxiety are the most important. Given the enormous number of COVID-19 cases and patients who experience persistent health problems after COVID-19 (long COVID), mental health issues will continue to severely impact the healthcare system. This article summarizes the current state of knowledge on the impact of COVID-19 on mental health and provides a detailed overview of the prevalence of frequent psychiatric comorbidities and the associated need for adequate treatment. Furthermore, this article elaborates on the current and future implications for the rehabilitation system, particularly focusing on the regular inpatient rehabilitation programs in Germany.
