Aim <p>There is minimal data in current research on the classification of dermatologic complaints and risks of these conditions within the migrant worker population. This is the first systematic review in the past 20&#xa0;years to assess dermatologic concerns of the United States migrant worker population.</p> Subject and methods <p>We conducted a systematic review of dermatologic conditions in migrant workers, their risk factors, and provide solutions for the dermatologic care of this population. We searched PubMed, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases for articles written in English from 2008 to 2023. A final search was performed on December 21, 2023.</p> Results <p>Nine studies met inclusion criteria, all from the USA, with 78% from North Carolina (<i>n</i> = 7) and the other 22% from Georgia (<i>n</i> = 1) and Michigan (<i>n</i> = 1). Prevalent dermatologic conditions included dermatitis, pruritis, skin injuries, nail disorders, infections, bites and stings, sun exposure-related conditions, acne, and seborrheic keratosis. Risk factors included lack of protective equipment, minimal education about sun protection, poor living conditions, UV index, working near fields with pesticides, and type of crop.</p> Conclusion <p>This systematic review strongly suggests that migrant workers are susceptible to many dermatologic conditions that can be attributed to social determinants of health. With improved education and access to care, certain dermatologic conditions may be better assessed and prevented within the migrant farm worker population.</p>
