<p>The tobacco caterpillar, <i>Spodoptera litura</i> Fabricus, is a&#xa0;major concern for both tobacco seedlings and mature crops, causing extensive losses. Our recent studies on the joint application of <i>Beauveria bassiana</i> and emamectin benzoate against <i>S.&#xa0;litura</i> have shown promising results. This study uncovers the changes in life history of <i>S.&#xa0;litura</i> triggered by the individual or joint application of <i>B.&#xa0;bassiana</i> and emamectin benzoate. Our results showed a&#xa0;significant reduction in growth and feeding parameters of <i>S.&#xa0;litura</i> treated with individual or joint application of <i>B.&#xa0;bassiana</i> and emamectin benzoate compared with the control treatment. Similarly, significant reduction in pupation (37.78%) as well as adult emergence (23.33%) of <i>S.&#xa0;litura</i> was caused by joint application of <i>B.&#xa0;bassiana</i> and emamectin benzoate compared with the control treatment. These results will further improve our knowledge about the infection mechanism responsible for synergistic action of <i>B.&#xa0;bassiana</i> + emamectin benzoate against <i>S.&#xa0;litura.</i></p>
