摘要

Nanotechnology is one of the most promising methods for increasing sustainable fruit production through the development of new nonfertilizer products. The current experiment was conducted in one of the private orchards in the Daraman area, Kirkuk, Iraq, during the 2025 growing season on seven-year-old apricot trees (Prunus armeniaca), cultivar ‘Zaginya’. This investigation aimed to evaluate the effects of foliar spraying with three concentrations of nano NPK (NPK NPs) at 0, 2, and 4 gL−1, and Nauta fertilizer at concentrations of 0, 200, and 400 mg L−1 on vegetative growth, yield, and fruit quality characteristics. The results confirmed that NPK NPs and Nauta fertilizer, independently and in combination, significantly improved the vegetative and fruit growth of apricots. The fruit quality characteristics increased significantly with increasing fertilizer amount, with the greatest fruit weight (31.13 g), volume (40.76 cm3), and firmness (2.91 kg cm2) recorded under the highest mix. Overall, the application of 4 g L⁻1 NPK nanoparticles and 400 mg L⁻1 Nauta fertilizer, as well as their combination, consistently yielded superior results across most measured parameters, which demonstrates its potential as a sustainable approach for improving productivity in orchard management.
