<p>This study was carried out to investigate the effects of different altitudes on olive quality in the villages of Yılmazköy (100 m) and Karaköy (750 m) in Aydın Province, Türkiye. Meteorological measurements revealed that the average temperature at 750 m altitude was 2.0–3.9 °C lower and that the relative humidity values were 0.1–12.5% higher than the 100 m&#xa0;values. In the phenological observations, at 100 m altitude, the first blooming date was determined to be 17&#xa0;April–04&#xa0;May, the full bloom date was 21&#xa0;April–08&#xa0;May, and the end of the bloom date was 25&#xa0;April–18&#xa0;May. At 750 m altitude, the first blooming date was 12–22&#xa0;May, the full blooming date was 15&#xa0;May–02&#xa0;June, and the end of the blooming date was 27&#xa0;May–07&#xa0;June. At 750 m altitude, blooming starts later. The average pomological measurements revealed that fruit width, length, fruit index, fruit weight, pit width, length, pit weight and moisture content were greater in olives at 100 m altitude. At 750 m, the flesh ratio and ripeness index values were greater. The total sterol content was greater in the oils at 100 m than at other altitudes. Oleic acid, phenolic compound and oil yield values were greater in oils at 750 m altitude.</p>
