<p>Walnut (<i>Juglans regia</i>&#xa0;L.) holds significant economic and health value worldwide. From a&#xa0;health perspective, walnuts are recognized as a&#xa0;rich source of essential nutrients, including omega‑3 fatty acids, antioxidants, proteins, vitamins (such as vitamin&#xa0;E and B6), and minerals like magnesium and phosphorus. This study evaluated grafted indigenous walnut genotypes for their physical traits, kernel quality, and fatty acid composition. Significant variation was observed across all parameters, and nut weight ranged from 19 g in the ‘Hamdan’ genotype to 28.1 g in ‘CITH-W‑1,’ with an average of 22.64 g. Kernel recovery varied between 44.44% in ‘CITH-W-3’ and 58.4% in ‘CITH-W-10,’ averaging 50.20%. Yield per tree ranged from 4.78 kg (‘Hamdan’) to 12.16 kg (‘CITH-W-1’), with a&#xa0;mean of 7.65 kg/tree. Analysis of the fatty acid profile revealed that linoleic acid (LA), ranging from 34 to 71%, linolenic acid (8.65 to 22.13%), and oleic acid (OA, 7.90 to 18.17%) were the primary components. After seven years of cultivation, the projected yield for these genotypes is approximately two&#xa0;tons per hectare, with potential for increased production in future years. These genotypes demonstrate potential for higher productivity and quality, suggesting improved financial returns. Selecting superior genotypes with enhanced nut and kernel quality as well as higher yield potential provides an efficient alternative to traditional breeding, especially for perennial and heterozygous species like walnuts.</p>
