<p>This study was conducted in an unheated plastic greenhouse located at Ordu University, Türkiye. As the plant material, 41B rootstock wood cuttings was used. The growing mediums were 1:1 peat-perlite (<i>P</i>:P) and 1:1 <i>P</i>:P + 20% vermicompost (V)&#xa0;by volume of the pot (Volume: 13 l). Irrigation was performed at field capacity until the plants reached the 4‑ to 5‑leaf period. When the plants reached the appropriate stage, a&#xa0;total of NaCl (5120 ppm) was evenly applied to the mediums. After 8&#xa0;weeks of application, shoot and root development parameters and some physiological parameters were examined in the plants. It was determined that salinity decreases shoot tolerance rate and chlorophyll content. Upon analyzing the medium differences, the use of vermicompost was found to increase the shoot tolerance rate, number of shoots and leaves, leaf area, root length, fresh and dry root weight, root tolerance rate, and chlorophyll content. When interactions were analyzed, regardless of salty or salt-free conditions, the use of vermicompost showed more positive results for plant growth parameters. As a&#xa0;result, it was concluded that the use of 20% vermicompost in 41B rootstock in salt stress could be effective in reducing salt stress.</p>
