摘要

During January and February 2018 and 2019, we evaluated the most important physico-chemical properties of 11 commercial and one autochthonous apple cultivars that were available to consumers at the largest city market in Čačak (Western Serbia). The results showed that significant differences among cultivars were registered for evaluated traits. ‘Čadel’ had superior physical properties such as FW, L, Da, Dg, L/D ratio and S; the highest D value had ‘Idared’, whereas similar and the highest FF had ‘Pink Lady’ and ‘Budimka’. The highest φ value was observed in ‘Budimka’, and the lowest in ‘Čadel’, ‘Red Delicious’ and ‘Pink Lady’. The set of cultivars (‘Red Delicious’, ‘Gloster’, ‘Idared’, ‘Fuji’ and ‘Pink Lady’) were the best source of SSC and TS, ‘Granny Smith’ had the highest acid content, whereas ‘Red Delicious’ had the sweetest fruits. ‘Golden Delicious Reinders’ and ‘Budimka’ basically did not have satisfactory fruit physical and chemical properties at the Čačak market. No significant correlations were found between the fruit physical and chemical properties. Čačak’s consumers and all others who find themselves at the Čačak market can be satisfied with the external and internal quality of the apple cultivars offered, as almost all varieties meet European criteria and protocols.
