摘要

In November 2022, stored tubers of colored calla lily (Zantedeschia, sect. Aestivae) had a dry rot associated with mycelia in Shanghai, China. Fungal isolates from the tubers were identified as the race 8 lineage of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum (Fov), representing a cryptic species distinct from closely related F. cugenangense and F. hexaseptatum based on DNA barcoding sequence analysis and conidial morphology. The pathogenicity of these isolates was verified. This is the first report that Fov race 8 lineage causes tuber rot of colored calla lily.
