Development of a loop-mediated isothermal amplification assay for strawberry anthracnose caused by C. fructicola and C. aenigma
摘要
Colletotrichum spp. include both nonpathogenic and pathogenic strains affecting strawberries, making selective detection essential for effective control. LAMP methods have been developed to comprehensively detect causal agents of strawberry anthracnose, but none are specific for the highly virulent C. fructicola and/or C. aenigma. We developed a LAMP method that is more sensitive than PCR for discriminating C. fructicola and C. aenigma from C. acutatum, C. fioriniae, C. nymphaeae, and C. siamense to help improve control of strawberry anthracnose.
