Extended diagnostics for dissociative seizures
摘要
Patients with dissociative seizures often report additional dissociative symptoms that can fluctuate over time. The differential diagnosis of nonepileptic seizures does not end the diagnostic process but instead lays the ground for an extensive exploration of further somatoform and psychoform dissociative symptoms. The overall clinical picture, according to the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 11 (ICD-11) extends from these dissociative symptoms to individual symptom management, stress-related disorders and psychological comorbidities.
