Stationäre Behandlung von Erwachsenen mit dissoziativen Anfällen in psychotherapeutisch ausgerichteten Stationen deutscher Epilepsiezentren

Numerous epilepsy centers in Germany offer specialized inpatient treatment programs on the inpatient wards for adult patients with dissociative seizures. This article describes the structural prerequisites, the treatment pathways and the multidisciplinary modular treatment options for this complex disease picture in the intersection between neurology and psychosomatic medicine. Lastly, the current situation with clinical trials specifically focusing on treatment outcomes is briefly presented.
