Stationäre Versorgung von Menschen mit psychogenen nicht-epileptischen Anfällen – Positionspapier der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Diakonischer Epilepsiezentren
摘要
Psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES, synonymous: functional/dissociative seizures) are an important differential diagnosis to epileptic seizures and are not a rare condition. Patients with PNES are cared for in specialized epilepsy centers that can monitor and assess seizures at any time. These centers have a specialized treatment concept that has been developed by the committee on psychosomatic epileptology of the German Society for Epileptology. This concept is constantly revised and re-evaluated. For some time now, this form of care has been questioned by the medical advisory service. The Working Group of Diaconal Epilepsy Centers therefore summarizes the arguments in favor of continuing the established and scientifically based care with the corresponding assumption of costs by the cost bearers.
