Lehren aus der COVID-19-Pandemie für die Reproduktionsmedizin
摘要
This review article is intended to provide a brief overview of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in general and, in particular, of the changes it caused in fertility treatment in everyday reproductive medicine. The changes are considered from the perspective of different groups of people. These include the staff at the reproductive medical centres, the patients there, their companions and the reproductive medical centres as a whole. The article concludes with an overview of the changes in the clinical routine of reproductive medicine centres compared to the pre-pandemic period—changes that have also been maintained post-pandemic and enable medical treatment with the greatest possible safety for both patients and staff. These are the lessons learned from the pandemic that are also being applied in numerous gynaecological practices.
