Algorithmen für die medikamentöse Therapie der Endometriose – Leitlinien im Vergleich
摘要
Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory gynecological disease with a worldwide prevalence of approximately 10%. Women of childbearing age are primarily affected. Endometriosis is characterized by cyclic and chronic pain as well as infertility and is associated with a significant loss of quality of life. In addition to surgical treatment using laparoscopic resection, endometriosis can also be treated with drugs. Various classes of active ingredients are available to this end, with the aim being to suppress ovarian function. National and international guidelines for the medical treatment of endometriosis are available and were selected for this article by means of a systematic literature search. When comparing the guidelines, there appears to be international consensus on most points. However, the German guideline differs from the other guidelines on one point: The progestin dienogest is recommended here as the only first-line drug therapy.
