Die neue PCOS-Leitlinie – Kernaussagen für Diagnostik, Risikobewertung und Lebensstilinterventionen
摘要
Some of the key statements from the updated international guidelines on polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) are summarized in this article. The Rotterdam criteria still apply for the diagnostics of PCOS. What is new is that the anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) value has been given a place in the diagnostics and can be used instead of transvaginal sonography. As women with PCOS have an increased cardiovascular risk and an increased risk for a glucose tolerance disorder or the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus, in women with PCOS a blood pressure measurement, a lipid profile and a 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) should be carried out at the initial diagnosis. Furthermore, women with PCOS should be informed about possible lifestyle interventions. In this respect, it should be noted that no diet is superior to another for weight loss. Furthermore, any physical activity is beneficial, regardless of the type of exercise.
