PySSR: an open-source python toolbox for real-time GNSS product analysis
摘要
Real-time Precise Point Positioning (PPP) using State Space Representation (SSR) corrections enables centimeter-to-decimeter positioning accuracy, as demonstrated by services like the International GNSS Service (IGS) Analysis Centers, BeiDou PPP-B2b, and Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS). However, real-time SSR corrections are typically not archived and lack complete satellite orbit and clock data, limiting their scientific evaluation. To address this, we present PySSR, an open-source Python toolbox designed for real-time GNSS product analysis. PySSR integrates broadcast ephemerides with SSR corrections from multiple sources (e.g., IGS, BDS PPP-B2b, Galileo HAS), converting them into precise SP3 orbit and RINEX 3 clock products compatible with post-processed standards. Its modular design supports automated processing, precision analysis, and visualization, offering a user-friendly platform for GNSS research. Validation against IGS products shows PySSR achieves orbit errors below 0.005 m and clock errors below 0.01 ns, outperforming existing tools in automation and compatibility. PySSR is accessible to both researchers and practitioners, facilitating advancements in real-time GNSS applications.
