<p>To meet the demand for high-precision satellite navigation and positioning, an open‑source software called GREAT-PVT is designed and developed for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) users. Based on the GREAT (GNSS + REsearch, Application and Teaching) software platform at Wuhan University, GREAT-PVT is coded in C + + using object-oriented programming and is convenient to expand and maintain due to its modular structure. Users can compile and install the software on Windows and Linux operating systems. GREAT-PVT supports multi-frequency and multi-GNSS Precise Point Positioning (PPP) and PPP with Ambiguity Resolution (PPP-AR) using ionosphere-free combinations or undifferenced uncombined methods. Besides, the software also supports the Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) processing in mixed-frequency modes. To demonstrate the usability of GREAT-PVT software, observations from 124 Multi-GNSS Experiment (MGEX) stations (DOY 305–314 in 2023) and a set of dynamic experiments are used to evaluate the performance of PPP-AR and RTK, respectively. Sample data can be obtained from the software package, which also includes documentation, batch processing scripts, plotting scripts and some auxiliary tools to facilitate users in processing and analyzing data over multiple days.</p>
