Relationships between Big Five personality traits and the willingness to use firefighting robots: a network analysis on firefighters
摘要
This study aims to investigate the relationship between firefighters’ Big Five personality traits and their willingness to use firefighting robots using network analysis. A sample of 402 firefighters completed questionnaires assessing their Big Five personality traits and willingness to use firefighting robots. Network analysis was employed to visualize and quantify the relationships between these variables. The results revealed that openness consistently showed positive relationships with all dimensions of willingness to use, while neuroticism tended to have negative associations with perceived ease of use and behavioral intention. Willingness to use exhibited the strongest expected influences within the network. Openness and conscientiousness demonstrated as bridge centrality in the network. Future research should further explore the dynamic evolution of these relationships to provide more scientific evidence for the intelligent transformation of the firefighting field.
