摘要

Diesel engines are widely used because of their high power, and diesel particulate filters can effectively control the emission of particulate matter from diesel engines, in which catalysts have a non-negligible role. This paper reviews the research progress of catalyst solutions for catalytic carbon soot combustion in diesel particulate filters in recent years. Firstly, the paper describes the various factors affecting the catalyst activity and the methods for evaluating the catalytic activity. Secondly, it summarizes the catalytic and non-catalytic mechanisms of soot combustion. After that, the paper even focuses on different catalyst types and structures, emphasizing the formulation of catalysts with unique structures. Finally, a brief review of composite regeneration technologies for particulate filters is presented. This paper highlights previous catalyst formulations with good catalytic performance and identifies areas of subsequent research that may provide helpful guidance for future research and commercialization.
