Gelebte medizinische Qualitätssicherung: Peer-Feedback nach SAA-Anwendung. Eine Umfrage zur Mitarbeiter*innenzufriedenheit
摘要
When treating emergency patients, paramedics apply extended care measures (administration of pharmaceuticals and other invasive measures), which are regulated through standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the medical management. Within the scope of quality assurance by the medical management, these practices during an operation are subsequently assessed and employees receive standardized feedback.
ObjectivesThe objective of this work is to analyze employee satisfaction with this standardized feedback by means of a questionnaire survey.
Materials and methodsA standardized questionnaire on the subject of employee satisfaction was created with an established standardized feedback. Within a survey period of 3 months, those employees were contacted who had applied an extended care measure and subsequently received standardized feedback.
ResultsIn all, 162 employees completed the questionnaire “Satisfaction SOP feedback”. According to the mean value, the evaluation shows general satisfaction among personnel with the standardized feedback (80.3 out of 100 possible points). In addition, the paramedics would like to receive the feedback sooner after the operation and would like to receive communication beyond purely written feedback, e.g., using video conferences.
ConclusionIt is clear that employees would like to receive this feedback more promptly after the assignment and seek dialog in this regard in the form of feedback discussions. This underpins the relevance of feedback on one’s own work performance for employee satisfaction. To adequately address these aspects, an appropriate feedback system within the emergency services should be organized.
