Indikationsstellung für angiographische Verfahren bei akutem Koronarsyndrom, Lungenarterienembolie und Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstand

Angiographic diagnostics and interventional therapy represent a central step in management of cardiovascular emergencies. Therefore, it is crucial for emergency physicians to know the criteria defining these therapies. Furthermore, initial care as well as quick and determined collection of relevant information are the mainstay on which further angiographic steps are based. In close cooperation with interventional departments, emergency departments contribute significantly to targeted proceedings. In this article, new and relevant developments with regard to the indications and methods used in acute coronary syndrome and pulmonary embolism and also with regard to significant therapeutic decisions after return of spontaneous circulation after resuscitation of alleged cardiac origin are presented. Selected contents of the latest guidelines and also current scientific data are included.
