Severe trauma is a medical and socioeconomic problem, which emphasises the high medical and tactical demands on the management of such complex scenarios. The following case report presents a prehospital case with multiple penetrating injuries in which early prehospital haemotherapy led to stabilisation of the clinical condition, enabled safe transport and resulted in survival without neurological deficit.
