Exposed persons were created by the Triage Consensus Conference as a ’new’ group of persons as part of the prehospital triage process. Implementation in corresponding alerting rules has often not yet taken place.

How could an adequate alarm planning be designed for exposed persons?

Based on theoretical considerations, the authors suggest creating an additional alarm group for exposed persons. This can be used in addition to other groups (e.g., Mass Casualty Event or keywords for technical rescue) for the alerting.
