Die Amokfahrt von Trier

On December 1, 2020, at around 1:45 p. m., a 51-year-old man was driving a Land Rover through the pedestrian zone in Trier, Germany. At a speed of around 80 km/h, he deliberately ran over people and knocked down numerous other pedestrians. Four people died at the scene, including a 9-week-old girl. Of the patients transported, 5 were assigned to triage category (TC) I, 1 patient to TC II and 12 patients to TC III.
