<p>SYMPLE is a community-driven, practice-oriented groundwater education initiative. In 2020, 40 passionate hydrogeologists from academia, institutions, and industry agreed to share their “tricks of the trade”, leading to the development of a first core curriculum. SYMPLE is built on the philosophy of moving beyond traditional lecture formats toward active involvement through real-world projects. Many of the participants remain actively involved, helping to grow a learning community with a strong focus on capacity building in developing countries that attempts to inspire others.</p>
