<p>Climate change has become one of the principal global concerns, with an expected increase in the frequency of extreme weather events, rising temperatures, and shifts in precipitation patterns, all of which are likely to profoundly impact agriculture, human health, and the economy. In China, the swift process of urbanization, coupled with climate change, has heightened the complexity of migration patterns. The intricate interplay between socio-economic and environmental changes compels people to consider migration as a strategy for adaptation. Our research reveals a complex interconnection between climate change and the patterns of population influx and outflow. This study aims to explore the effects of climate change on migratory dynamics to inform policy-making for nations grappling with the dual challenges of economic growth and environmental sustainability.</p>
