„European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS): Clinical Practice Guidelines on the Management of Vascular Trauma 2025“ (klinische Leitlinien für die Behandlung von Gefäßtraumata 2025) – was ist neu, was ist interessant?
摘要
The care of patients with vascular trauma (VT) generally involves the treatment of highly acute clinical scenarios. Prompt and correct treatment decisions by a multidisciplinary team are of fundamental importance to save the life and/or limb. In January 2025, guidelines of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS) were published. The aim of this article is to provide a structured review and summary of the ESVS Practice Guidelines on the Management of Vascular Trauma. The topics of general considerations after VT, trauma to the supra-aortic extracranial vessels, trauma to thoracic and abdominal vessels, and trauma to peripheral vessels are highlighted. In total, 39 of the 105 treatment recommendations of the ESVS can be found in this article. Two clinical examples illustrate the practical implementation of specific ESVS treatment recommendations. Overall, it should be noted that these are the world’s first standardized treatment recommendations for the management of vascular trauma. Despite the sometimes weak strength of evidence due to the lack of systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials, the treatment recommendations, some of which have been formulated by expert consensus, are extremely important for making quick and correct decisions when treating patients with VT.
